Hi, I dont know about all of you other Marchers, but I for one am somewhat beside myself. I am not afraid really..just want to get it done! I pray that happens in a few hours. The only thing that could possibly stop me is that both my kids have had a stomach/vomit bug in the last few days. My youngest just finished up yesterday. I know I need to tell the staff and surgeon, and it is my fervant prayer and hope that because I feel just fine (besides for the butterflies, and the remains of my last meal in my stomach)..I need to get this done TODAY! I will really be a wreck if it doesnt happen. So I am trying not to worry. I can't go to the hospital for 2 more hours, and so here I am, on the Marchers board, reading old posts and getting to know you all so much better. What a wonderful place!! Will promise to post upon my return, dont want to wind up on Joy's MIA list!! THanks so much everyone for all your help, prayers and support. I hold you all in a special place in my heart this month. We can do it!! Kris in Maine. PS...Has anyone here every heard of Josh Groban? he is a young singer? I will post this here since I have NOTHING else to do right now...but if you havent heard of him, I highly reccommend him. Young, cutie pie singer, that does a mix of classical and pop...HE sang at the superbowl for the tribute to the space shuttle victims. Anyway he is on tour, and I went to see him last week and sat in the second row..WOW..what a night. The reason for this post is, I ususally tell everyone I meet that Bangor (the town in Maine where I live) spells Groban (if you mix up the letters) QUEER I know...but on 'other boards' besides this one I am known as 'bangor=groban' I am sure you are all reading this thinking..'how do we get the crazy lady off this board?" right? Well....Josh keeps me going, I have his cd in my headset and am taking that with me to the hospital..incase I have a roomie tonight, I will be sleeping with Josh singing in my ears!! Enough already huh!! Well at least the time is passing!! Bye for now Kris in Groban..I mean Bangor!

hello kris i know how your feeling right now, here I am at almost 5am and doing the same thing! I love Gosh Groban and my favorite is "To where you are"! The first time I herd this song it made me cry like A baby, my dad has passed away (10 yrs now) and I was just thinking of him and how he wont be here to walk me down the isle , give me away on my wedding day in July, sad i know breakes my heart! How lucky are you to have seen him in concert and the 2nd row to Boot! You Go Girl! Dont worry everything will go great for you! God is good! Hugz Mary

Kris - I can empathize with the "not sleeping" part. It's 2:30a here right now and I'm getting on the plane to head out myself. Even though my surgery is still a couple days away, it feels like it's tomorrow. I just have so much to pack and take with me that I feel discombobulated! Take care of yourself, and I will pray you don't get the bug! Dina

Hi, Kris-- I hope that you didn't get sent home. This flu is really awful. I had surgery last Tues. and came home on Thurs. On Friday, my husband came home from work just furious. It seems his office mate came in to work and sat there THE WHOLE DAY with this stuff and exposed my husband. You would think the guy could take a sick day, but then some people are sooooo considerate of others. Maine is so great. I am often in Portland, as I worked near there years ago, but of course this is coming up to mud season now. I know you will find the strength if you must go home for your own safety but let me just say that would, as the kids say, suck.
