private or semi private???????
Yes. I did not do the boards before surgery and only ended up on them in desperation with some complications. Someone over on yahoo gave me a recipe to help me swallow some disgusting antibiotics I must take due to a post op infection (unrelated to surgery, just lucky me). The layout of this board is superior and I was captured reading the bios. I think it is a good protection to be able to spot the first signs of the some of complications that I've read about.
2 days after getting home, I was running a fever. As it climbed, the surgical group finally pulled me into the emergency room for a CT-Scan. All is well with the surgery, thank goodness, but I do have a bladder and early kidney infection. It's kind of made me falter, just because I was all geared up for a certain amount of bother and was really excited about my recovery. I walked as far as the ocean (near my house) and was so jazzed, then came home, was violently ill and the fever hit.
However, it's under control thanks to an informal ice milk maker. You put lactose free milk and sugar free syrup in a quart ziplock, immerse it in a gallon ziplock with ice cubes and 3/4 cup salt. Shake for five minutes, and voila, some sweet ice milk that can mask the task of nearly anything. I didn't want to be rehospitalized for intravenous antibiotics.
Maybe I'll walk to the ocean again by, say, Tuesday.
And you?
