SURGERY PUT OFF

until when I dont know. Got a call from my Surgeon Friday telling me that he has a emergency w/his daughter and not sure when he will be able to do surgery. I am very disappointed my whole world came crashing down. I feel like maybe God is trying to tell me something. I want this surgery so bad and not sure when he will be able to do it. Maybe he will call me next week and tell me that he can do it. I want to thank everyone for their love and support. I dont post as often as I would like to, but I love and thank u for ur support. Hopefully I will be able to have surgery soon......Mary

Mary- I am very sorry to hear what has happened to you. It is natural to be upset about it. Sometimes we forget that our doctors ,however talented and well-trained, are people with all the troubles that this old world puts on all of us. I'm sure he would not have chosen to have an emergency with his daughter and have to put his patients on hold. Soon everything will be back on track and you will be traveling to the losing side as a winner! ((((hugs))))) Jewell

Dearest Mary Relax! It happened to me last week. I was a March 8th but the surgeon said because I have a cold... He was right the cold went to my lungs and I will not be 100% by Monday. Then, the 48 hours thing came out and doesnt it figure My doc's office is in Lubbock Texas, at the HIGHLAND Medical Center.... My surgery will be at a different hospital and it is not the doc in the show, but all my parents in Pheniox heard... was bad surgery bad doc, lubbock texas..... GOD REALLY IS IN CONTROL.... we are on our way to the losing side.... love, Andie of the 22nd

I'm so sorry. I know this is the second postponement for you. I hope it does not delay you by much. Hang in there. When you are looking for a totally new life, a few days does not really mean that much in the long run. (Sure does throw us in the short term though!!) Joy

I feel your pain!! I was almost on the table when my surgeon cancelled me because they found H pylori in my blood! I took it really hard and now I am waiting to reschedule. Hopefully 03/29/04. Good Luck and hang in there, If its right for you it will happen, just pray for Gods will. Julie
