March Date

Hello. I never posted on the March board because I just found it. My surgery is march 23rd. I have my PAT's on Wednesday and I have a lot of questions for them. I wish everyone having surgery in March a safe and speedy recovery. Good Luck!!!

Hi. My name is Kelly and I will be having Lap Band surgery on March 25. I am nervous because I have never had any kind of surgery before. For the lady that wanted to know what PAT's are they are PreAdmission Testing. I know that but I guess that is about it. If anyone wants to share let me know. I would like to wish all the Marchers good luck. We will all be in a better place in April. We will have begun the journey to a new Life. Kelly H.

All doctors do different testing. It might benefit you to go back to this past week and see some of the topics we did. I had my pre-op test and I had 6 done in 2 hours. I have not had major surgery before either. Just 2 day stay procedures. We have no idea how I am going to react to anything. The hospital that I will be in has suggested that you have someone stay with you to make sure your needs are met. I was lucky enough to have a girl friend that is an RN and can come stay with me. If you have a private room they have no problem and I think they appreciate the help.
