Yikes I just took pre-op measurements!
Actually my dear sweet honey just took them, as he is the only one I would allow to do so.
They are pretty bad and I am bigger than HE is in every area! (by about 4 inches too)
But now, I have the base figures to use for comparison as I shrink smaller and smaller. Just a reminder to all of you that it is a good thing to get someone to take measurements that can keep doing it so that they do it the same way each time and it will be an accurate comparison.
He also took a poloroid picture of a certain part of my anatomy...LOL so we can see the difference later on...

I did my measurements this morning. I think they will help me. Mentally, when there is no mirror in sight, my perspective is not always that I am huge. I guess sometimes I forget, plus I'm one of the ones that people say "carry my weight well".
But you can't argue with that tape measure!
So I'm hoping that having a baseline to compare to will help me during those times when I don't "see" weight loss.
PS I'm also going to have my Dear Boyfriend take my pre-op pictures today. My hair looks awful and no make-up. This afternoon I'm going to get my hair highlighted so that when I come back from surgery, people will have SOME kind of change to notice! Plus its a common trick from before and after spots - before, they're tired, unwashed, no makeup, flat hair and in the after shot they've got new clothes, and their hair and make up look like they were done by a stylist from Dallas.
(PS - don't mean to offend anybody from Dallas, just a joke)
Love,
Jen
I have today and tomorrow left to go.
