What a team! This surgery is so easy, you can do it in your sleep! And, just think a week from now you will be on the Losing side! The Marchers will be cheering for you all the way. Think of that when you are having to make yourself walk and drink. We can't wait until you are reporting back to us. God bless you... Joy

Joy.. is it really easy??? I think Im the first, second weeker to go under the knife. 6:30 am Monday morning. The butterflies will NOT go away. The kids are depressing me. "Mommy, Ill miss you when your away" I KNOW Ill be fine.. my surgeon is wonderful. My Nana isnt taking it well either... she keeps staring at my picture and crying. The poor thing. Im very close to her- she's my buddy and I dont think if anything happened to me she'd take it well. Ahhhh well... Ill be fine. Joy, hows the food intake going????

YOU WILL BE FINE. THE PAIN IS NOT THAT BAD. ITS JUST LIKE BEING SORE AFTER YOU HAVE WORKED OUT TOO HARD. I HAVE TWO GIRLS 9YR AND 8 MONTH. THEY MISSED ME BUT MY OLDEST LOVED COMING TO THE HOSPITAL. KIDS ARE AMAZED WITH THE BEDS IN HOSPITALS FOR SOME REASON. NOW THAT IM HOME IT IS A LITTLE INCONVIENT NOT TO BE ABLE TO PICK UP THE BABY OF DO ALL YOU WANT TO DO. BUT IT WILL ONLY LAST A WEEK OR SO. IM AM ON LIQUID DIET. SUPPOSED TO DO 48OZ OF WATER AND 45 GRAMS OF PROTEIN. THAT IS A LITTLE HARDER. I FELT LIKE I SIPPED ALL DAY YEASTERDAY AND ONLY GOT 32 OZ OF WATER ON 30 GRAMS PROTEIN. I RECOMMEND ATKINS SHAKES. THEY ARE EXPENSIVE BUT TASTE OK AND HAVE 20GRM OF PROTEIN. GOOD LUCK TO YOU. SEE YOU ON THE LOSING SIDE!!! I HAD SURGERY TUESDAY AND ACCORDING TO MY SCALE I HAVE LOST 11LBS ALREADY. SO THAT MAKES ME FEEL BETTER. LADONNA

Seeing everyone come out of surgery okay and be home and posting helps TONS. It really must be hard to not pick up your baby. She probably wants her momma to hold her. My 3 year old is a clingy little something. I hope he understands that he wont be able to sit on my lap for a little while. Im having Open RNY. My surgeon doesnt want protien shakes, strange huh?? He wants all the protein from food. Ill come home on a pureed diet. Its so weird how all surgeons are different. 11 pounds??? Thats great LaDonna!!! Congrats.
