I went food shopping last night and I got so emotional, It was tuff. I started throwing all kinds of things in the carriage... My husband looked at me and asked me "do you think your really gonna eat all this stuff by Friday?" I told him no and that for some odd reason I felt like I had to buy it.... I don't know whats going on but, food shopping was just so hard last night. Anyone else having these kind of weird feelings? Kelley 6 days and a wake up Has 3 pints of Ben & Jerry's Ice cream to eat...

We went food shopping last week, and I put some stuff in the cart that I knew there was no WAY I was going to 'get around to' eating. And my boyfriend keeps telling me about the packets of rice and noodles and stuff we got at Costco that we have to eat this weekend. He knows we won't really. Tomorrow I'm going to go food shopping for the real stuff. SF ice pops. Jen

3 pints of Ben & Jerry's mmmmmmmmmmmm. I just stopped at the store last night to pick up cat food and SF Popcicles. Pow! It hit me like a ton o bricks....I was surrounded by food and couldn't have any. Waaaaaa...I felt like doin' a Lucy cry. Sniff, sniff. It'll be alright. Just keep telling yourself, it'll be alright. Kelley, I am SOOOO with you!!!!! I have so much food in my house right now that I can't have that I could feed 10 people for a month and probably still have leftovers. I don't know WHAT I was thinking! Like hello, there is NO WAY I can eat it all between now and Thursday, especially since I've already started my protein drinks to replace meals. My last real meal is Monday and that is lunch only. Then two days of nothing but protein drinks. Rob, I got some food for ya! You pay postage? Just go with the flow Kelley, it'll all work out. If nothing else, you can donate it all to a shelter after your surgery. Carrie Carrie Quite Contrary (a/k/a CCQC) 5 Days and a Wake Up to a New Life! I gave each of my daughters what they wanted and gave the rest to my church pantry for distribution. Included everything from white rice to diet dr pepper to boxes of sweetened cereal. It wasn't easy, but it sure felt better when it was done. It was probably 8 bags of groceries. Joy

I had to laugh at your post. Your shopping cart sounds like mine. I have to keep my weight up until 3/17 - so I am eating w/o guilt for the first time in years. Have fun.
