Last BIG weekend

Welp its here....my last BIG weekend before surgery. Guess what, Im going to do all my sinful stuff to get it out of my system heeheehee...first stop casino, second bar, third buffett where I will eat everything in sight and two, well maybe three deserts!!! So what everyone else doing? ;)

Party Hardy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! whooooooooooo... i'm not that close to surgery, but I have to begin a 3 week liquid diet on Monday, so I'm partying this weekend too!!!!! Oh! I was feeling sorry for myself because I had to follow a 2-week liquid diet... I feel SO much better at your expense now! Thanks! :ducking:

No kidding! And here I was feeling sorry for myself for having to do it for nine days. Now I feel like I lucked out. Be strong.....I know you guys can do it! Hugs, Karen

Is that clear liquids or full liquids, Lori? If you can include protein powder and vitamins be sure to do so--otherwise that would make your body go without protein for a long time! Also the protein will keep you from getting so hungry. I had to do clear liquids 1 day before surgery and was really hungry. Funny though, I haven't been hungry this week at all. Just thirsty! Full liquids for at least the 1st week and a half... I am going grocery shopping on Sunday to get all the protien rich items I can... My surgeon said that his patients average an 80% loss within the 1st year, then looked me straight in the eyes and said, "but YOU can do better than that" I'm going to EVERYTHING within my power to make this tool work the best for me... I have a great advantage, being young, and without children... I'm not the cook at my house either, so it's not like I'm going to have to prepare meals for everyone...
