I'm haulling piggies (might as well, do almost every Saturday anyway) this is my new found passion. My son joined 4H this year and decided to raise hogs as his project. Never been around livestock in my life. It took me three whole weeks to actually touch her and then it was with a gloved hand -- took a week or so more before I'd actually touch her wih my hand--now she comes to the gate when I come in the door waiting for her ear scratching. Piggies are sooo funny (not like other livestock that just stand there). Ours is the funniest of all. She likes to run and slide across the barn floor. She also jumps (maybe I feel connected to her in a way -- ever seen a 282 lb piggie skip and hop and gallop -- hysterical!!!!).
