I went to the drug store at lunch and picked up my post-op meds. I was also very excited to find a SF Tussin syrup (good for periodic sinus/congestion-draining) and those excedrin quick tabs.. which are really acetominophen (plus a small amount of caffeine, which I am not going to worry about, because I'm giving up my coffee). So I'm set for whatever might ail me in the future that has ailed me in the past - mostly, sinus headaches.
Also picked up SF chewable motion sickness stuff for my trip.
And chewable Centrum. I plan to buy the separate supplements (sublingual B12, calcium citrate, etc.) later, but for the first couple of weeks I can't be bothered organizing vitamins. I'm still crossing protein powders off my list. Of my samples so far I only liked the banana.
Go Marchers!
Please read your exedrin label very carefully because we are not generally supposed to take aspirin products. And unless you have an aspirin free, excedrin has aspirin in it and that can cause more bleeding during surgery. I know I had to stop taking it for that reason. I just don't want you to take something that can hurt you during surgery so please talk to you Dr. about it and read the label very carefully.
