Hi all - First time posting here for me - I'm Leah and scheduled for March 30th with Dr. Oh in Washington and looking forward to it.. My husband and I are actually doing this together, though his will be a week later. I've spent alot of time reading others journeys and really appreciate the honesty of the good and bad - think that this has helped to prepare me better. So now, I'm drinking my protein, taking my vits and exercising when I can to be best prepared....any other suggestions about how to prepare or what are others doing??? We've managed to complicate it a bit since we live in Alaska and are coming to WA for the surgery -but I have great folks that will help while we are there. thanks so much! -Leah

Welcome to the Marchers I would suggest trying to get rid of the sugar in all the meals you can. And your caffine intake to decaf. Others have told me they had withdrawals from caffine and sugar. I would perfer to not handle the surgery and withdrawals at the same time.

Hi Leah!! We're almost surgery twins -- mine is March 31!! I am trying to limit my food intake as well as all the other suggestions listed here, and also increasing my water. I am hoping this will make it easier!!

Hope you get to feeling better soon! We aren't too far off - and we both know we want to be in the best of health going into this surgery. My thoughts will be with you as I'm coming out of the surgery stupor!
