Adhesions.

Hey all, I was wondering if any of you know about the effects of adhesions from previous surgeries and WLS? When I had my tubal last year my ob/gyn commented on how many I had. Do you think it will effect the healing process at all? I know you all arent dr's but maybe the answer to that question arose in someone's research of wls.

I saw my surgeon today and he said i probably had adhesions from previous surgerys, and that the operation might take a little longer than with someone that doesnt have them,,,,

I don't know if this is part of the reason or not, but that is why I am having "open" versus lap because of prior surgeries and prior lap procedures...she (my surgeon) wants to look around in there.

My surgeon said he removed/repaired some while he was in there. Wonder if that will show up as a line item on his bill? Joy
