Update on our Canary Joy Cook

Hi Marchers, I just got off the phone with our canary Joy, she is doing fantastic, felling very good and hopes to go home tomorrow. She has been up and walking from the beginning. She is on clear liquids, has no nausea, and said everything is going very good. I informed her of how the rest of the Marchers who are now on the losing side are doing, she is very happy for everyone. Love, Peace and Prayers to all, Betty

Betty: Thank you for the update on Joy. I was wondering how she was doing. She & I were both scheduled on Mar. 1st but I had to postpone until the 8th at 3:30 because of a bad cough. AWWWWWWWWWWW HEAR DEM CANARIES SINGIN!!!!!!!!!

I am surprised that she was in the hospital so long. I hope everything is OK. I had the procedure done the morning of the first also and they shipped me home the next day. I slept better without nurses waking me up every hour for some silly test or another. We look forward to hearing from her.

Tamara, Joy had a hysterectomy at the same time she had her WLS, so she had two major surgeries at the same time. She is doing super great having gone through those two biggies. Betty
