nice pic! It is funny, when you "picture" someone in your head and have no visual...mine are never right! You are much younger looking that I imagined, but maybe that is just because I want everyone to be as old as me! LOL Good luck on your upcoming surgery, mine will be in 13 days.

Well, truth be told, I've 'aged' a LOT these past 10 years. I guess chronic illness does that to you. The weight doesn't help much, either. When I was in my early to mid 30s, I was still being 'carded' for ****tails - made on of my best friends go NUCLEAR when they carded me, but when she offered her Drivers' License, they said "Nah, thanks...we don't need yours". Poor gal went into MELTDOWN! My neighbor's kids never believed I was 25+ years older than them...they said I was just as young at heart as they were...hmm, I wasn't so sure that was a good thing! I guess maybe one of my 'secret wishes' is that I get carded again after I get healthy and jaunty again. Didn't really think 'bout that 'til now...

Hey Kimmer! It's GREAT getting to put a face to the name! You ARE cute as a button! I realized that I need to put a picture up for myself, too, but, uh, does it HAVE to be of me? Think if I put one of Nicole Kidman up here anyone would even notice? ---Cindy

We all look young in my family too...my 40 year old daughter still gets asked for ID....but now, mine came in reverse...some senior citizen discounts start as early as 55 or 60 but most start at 62....and I found I always had to tell them I was a senior....and they would ask for proof! Finally one day someone just automatically gave me the discount without asking.....talk about a downer!
