new group on yahoo

I know that we can't post a url to the group, so the only way I could think of around this, was to make a post that I've created a group in yahoo for all us Marchers... Please either send me an email or pop me a instant message on yahoo, my user name is queenbeelorimarie, and I'll get you the url... and if you all don't mind, I'm going to try and post this same message once a day, so that any new members will be able to see this message... I'm not sure if I can post my email address in this message, so just click on my profile link and send me a message, and if you can, please make the subject title "need yahoo group url"... or post a reply in here and I'll look up your email addy and I'll send the url to you... The reason I decided to do this, is because, on yahoo it is easier to read the posts, and you'll know what you've read... I hope everyone is interested... I personally don't care for the group setup in Yahoo. I belonged to a couple and every time anyone answered or wrote anyone, my e-mail was flooded. I got out of them and would prefer not to add another group from this one. But that is just me....I love yahoo, I play literati every night on yahoo, but I like this system better on OH. Just my 2 cents.

All you have to do to avoid the flood of email on a yahoo group is when you sign up for the group, choose no email, that way you can just check the posts whenever it is convient for you, but everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion/preferece... if you'd like to take a look let me know and I'll get you the info you need... there aren't any posts as of yet, since I'm the only one on it right now... I appreciate the invite Lori. Personally though, I'm having trouble keeping up with this board right now so I don't know how I'd add in another one. Maybe after surgery though. I'll keep it in mind. This board will be easy to find forever....they have a category called reunion pages...and these dated forums will always be there...I was looking at them and they started years ago. Just start at the main page on obesityhelp.com and click on reunion pages and find our date March 2004.

Just a little 'sneaky' FYI - go ahead and post the address to the site, just leave off the "www." and/or "http://", and somehow put in the sentence that "...the first part of this address starts with www., but since I can't put that in there, I left it out. Just put it in front of blahblahblah.com..." Links are not allowed in OH, and is probably the one way attention can be drawn to your post. More than one way to skin a cat...hehehe...
