Just an Observation

I just wanted to raise an observation I've had the past few days. As our surgeries became imminent, the tone of this board completely changed. Those who challenged us, if they came back right now, would be completely surprised at the tone of our board during this very serious time. The totally support and love that is extended to each and every person listed on our precious list made by my Angel Va, regardless of their posting status on our board. I know all of you well enough to know that you did exactly what I did, check on the next days list and sent a prayer to each and every one listed and then turned around and prayed for those who have already gone. I just had to say that I am truly impressed. When push came to shove, we got seriously down to business. The support here far out shines support offered on any other board that I have lurked on. I love my Marchers, keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!! Whitney

I completely agree, I haven't been too extremely vocal, but I've been lurking for a while, and will throw in my .02 every now and then, and I've noticed the change in the tone also... I would've bet my house that this would occur. It's just the dynamics of our family...right now it's time to TCOB (take care of business), then it was working through the time. All the silliness and off-the-wall demeanor was getting out our pre-surgical stresses and anxieties. Simple as that. I also believe that come April 2nd or so, the tides will change again, and a MIXTURE of before/after will evolve. We'll have the time on our hands to compare notes, and of COURSE, you KNOW that's gonna be a hoot! But we'll also be learning from each other again and addressing serious issues.
