Hi everyone, I'm back, yep, I was almost on the table and my surgeon cancelled me. They found h-pylori in my blood which is the bacteria that causes ulcers so he cancelled me until I get it treated. I was iv in arm ready to go , what a bummer. Good thing they gave me Valium to keep me calm. Anyway, my new surgery date should be in about a month. The worst part for me is the bowel prep!! And now I will have to do it again !!! We'll have to see if I'm still a Marcher. Julie

(((((Julie)))))) You'll always be a Marcher, even if you have surgery in April. What an emotional roller coaster ride huh?

Gee Julie, what a ride! I guess better for your surgeon to find it beforehand, though, eh? Once a Marcher, always a Marcher! Hugs, and best wishes that you're better soon, -Marcie

I'm so sorry to hear you were cancelled Julie. What a bummer! I guess the good thing is that it wasn't cancelled forever, just postponed. Like someone else already said though, once a Marcher always a Marcher. You are still part of the family around here!!!! Hi Julie, I know how disappointing this is, it happened to me too. Maybe we can be the 'left over Marchers?' I'll be praying you you. Love and Peace, Betty

Hey Julie, Once a Marcher always a Marcher.. and even if you are a leftover Marcher it's ok cause who doesn't love leftovers??? I would not be this calm .. I'd still be at the hospital screaming at the dr for not testing me pre-op... I am happy you had valium.. What a letdown... Well this is good though cause now you have all these wonderful folks going ahead of you to answer any and all of your questions.. Be sure you take all of the medicine they gave you EXACTLY per the instructions...This is better than getting an ulcer in your new pouch....
