Hello all to my Marcher friends, As each day passes, I am one step closer to my knew life. My family is sooo excited for me. They keep asking "are you excited?" and of course I respond "YES!!!" I need to start collect all the items I will need for when I go to the hospital and when I come home from surgery. I am a teacher so I have to make substitue plans for the days I miss. Lots to do. I am just so happy all the extra work doesn't bother me. I am slowly starting to tell people at my work that I am having surgery. Only to a few selected "trusted" friends. Eventually everyone will know. I will keep you all posted of any new and exciting info. Wendy Ann

I know what you mean about excitement. Each day I feel as if it's building more and more. I don't see how I can be any more excited, but then the next day I am. Hope I don't burst before my date (3/16). I've only told 3 people at work what the surgery is that I'm having. I figure they will find out afterwards soon enough when they start seeing some big (or rather "smaller") changes. Then I think I will be ok to share it with anyone that asks. Right now, though, when someone asks if everything is ok, I say yes and I really don't want to get into it now. Then I have to turn away to surpress a huge grin Keep Happy Thoughts! mgm 15 days to go

HEY!! WE SHARE A SURGERY DATE!! I CAN'T BELIEVIE IT IS ONLY 21 DAYS. WOW, I RADIATE BETWEEN EXCITEMENT AND NERVOUSNESS. I AM GETTING THINGS READY, TOO. I AM HAVING MY SURGERY 2 HRS FROM HOME SO I AM TRYING TO PLAN WHAT I WILL NEED FOR THE HOTEL, MAINLY LOSE UNDERWEAR AND T SHIRTS!! I PLAN TO RELAX AND HEAL (AND CATCH UP ON SOAPS)! WELL, I LET EVERYONE AT MY WORK KNOW WHAT I WAS DOING. THEY HAVE HEARD ABOUT EVERY STEP! I HAVE A GREAT GROUP OF SUPPORT AT MY JOB. ANYWAYS, I GET EXCITED TALKING TO ANOTHER 22-ER!! TAKE CARE AND HAPPY RECOVERY!

Surgery Sisters we all are! (-: I am having the surgery about an hour and a half from home but we have a major freeway that we call 'the 91 Parking Lot' so during rush hour it could be as long as 4 or more hours. I am trying to convince my hubby that he should take the travel trailer and park it in the hospital parking lot. I told him that surgery will be super early in the morning and if we spend the night in the parking lot we certinally won't be delayed in traffic! Not only that but my sweetie will be close to me since he won't be allowed to stay with me in my room. I think I'll be in the hospital for five days (I so totally hope not!) but it's a long drive for him... he thinks a town 8 miles away is a day trip. So I've asked him to go down there on Sunday night and wait with me for Monday surgery then stay until the end of visiting on Tuesday which would put him past the rush hour traffic. Then he can come get me on Friday.... so that's the thought anyway. I will be wearing a skirt and blouse to go into surgery and then my huge jammies that don't have any tummy contact to go home in. I will wear slip on shoes so that only leaves socks and tooth brush and hair brush. One of my friends advised against panties for the first couple of days.... the jury is still out on that.

Wendy, how are you? Don't know if you remember me but I remember you! Happy 4th anniversary - I'm contacting as many of our Marchers as I can to encourage everyone to post on their anniversary dates - share whatever you want to talk about - successes, failures, triumphs, tragedies - mostly, please tell us how you're doing with maintaining your weight loss. So many of us are struggling and I think all need a good talking to from each other, no matter where we're at in this journey - we're in this together, please, please check in on your anniversary date! Take care, Maureen
