Hello Fellow Marchers! When I went to my Dr. Friday for my pre-op appointment they gave me a handy dandy list of recipes to help me get started in my new life. There are some good ones here for the full-liquid stage so I thought that I would post some for you to have if you want them. I'll post a couple here and then post more tomorrow. God Bless us all as we begin our new journey to the LOSING side!!! Here you go: Crystal Light Cooler 1/2 C. Crystal Light (recommended flavors: punch, strawberry-kiwi or strawberry-orange-banana) 2 Tbsp. Cool-Whip Lite 1/2 C. Egg Beaters Blend Well Yield: 2 servings Serving size: 1/2 cup Calories per serving: 40 Protein per serving: 6.0 grams High Protein CIB Smoothie 1/4 C. 100% orange juice 1/2 C. Skim milk 3 Tbsp. nonfat dry milk 1/2 packet sugar-free vanilla Carnation Instant Breakfast Mix in Blender. Yield: 2 servings Serving size: 1/2 cup Calories per serving: 80 Protein per serving: 5.0 grams

Crystal light one sounds pretty yummy! I would go for the other smoothie but for the real orange juice. Did you know there is a low-carb orange drink that is made from orange juice out now? I haven't tried it yet, just got a glimpse of it. Can't wait to try it though! Yum! Dina

My nutritionist told me to stay away from ALL citrus and acidic for the first few weeks. Our new Pouchling is gonna be swollen and RAW from the incisions/staples, and it'd be the same as putting citrus/acid on a canker sore or salt on a body cut. YOWIE!! Made 110% sense... But on down the road I'm gonna try that orange juice one...sounds like an Orange Julius (if you add vanilla extract)...
