Hey Bethany Hon,
I'm hearing ya. You are going to be just fine. Take a deep breath and repeat after me:
I am going into a healthy new lifestyle and everything is going to be just fine, cause da judge is here praying for me.
Now when that anxiety kicks in just repeat the above. And know we all love you, care about you and are praying for you.
Love, Peace and Prayers to you and yours.
Betty
Hi Beth, just try to stay focused, keep yourelf busy make sure you have everything you need and I am finding that if you keep a journal at home on paper it helps to express all your feelings, and takes some of the stress away before you know it you will be on your way to a healthier you! Go buy yourself something pretty in a smaller size this will keep you motivated.... p.s. dont forget to have the nurse put a blanket under your lower back to eleviate some of the pressure during your wls, waking up without lower back pain is a plus!!!
experience talking here, I have had 3 abdominal surgeries in 1 year and it helps!!!! God bless You!
Dear Bethany:
As much as I feel I need this surgery I think you need it even more.
You are so young, with a great future ahead of you, but only if you lose all the excess weight. Besides being very bad for your health there is a terrible attitude about fat women. It holds women back from finding great jobs, achieving promotions and finding love and having babies.
I hope you get your terror under control and I hope you follow the program post operatively. You have a long future ahead of you.
All the best to you.
Louise
Bethany,
I just wanted to say that I know how you feel. I am terrified also, but we have to look at the other side and know that we are going to come out of this happier, healtheir person. I will be thinking of you on Tuesday and looking forward to hearing from you when you get home and become your recovery process. GOOD LUCK
Sam
