I have a friend that her surgery is next week and she has had the flu. She called the surgeon;s office and they said they would do the surgery as long as she did not have a fever. Of course she also got with her pcp and got meds to take. Here is a suggestion: if they want to cancel, see if they can switch you with someone already scheduled. change dates with them so you do not have to wait so long. In the meantime..my prayers are with all you first weekers to stay healthy and to get rid of all those sniffles and other symptons.
