Hi all: Remember yesterday when I walked out of the hospital thinking that the wrong test was going to be done - well I was correct. My surg. office faxed my letter back to me and indicated that I only needed a spirometry and MVV - not the whole PFT. Thanks to this site I knew that a 1 1/2 to 2 hour test was not usual and am so glad that I decided to question it. Now I called the hosp back to set up the tests and the nurse had no idea what I was talking about - so she gave me the phone number for the tech I spoke with yesterday - who has not yet called me back. Thank God this is my last preop test, if they all went like this one I'd stay fat. Thanks for the support yesterday. For all you first weekers - good luck. I'll keep you all in my prayers.

Louise, I spent an hour and a half yesterday waiting for a simple chest Xray. I was beyond frustrated, but knew if I left, it probably wouldn't be any better the next time I tried. I am glad you have your stuff in order tho and it's almost done. Hugs, Mo doin' the 23 days and a wake up happy Mo dance
