What's your last meal gonna be?
I have a long standing affair with Olive Garden's Fettucini Alfredo. I asked my hubby to PLEEEEEAAAAASSSEEE take me there. My last eat anything day will be March 20th.....
Breadsticks and Alfredo here I come!
Of course I wanna make the rounds visiting family, you know, just in case, and everyone of them cooks one special dish..... Grandma = Tater Tot Casserole. Big sis #1 = Dad's special (the only two that could make it, go figure!) Big Sis #2 = Fajitas, I don't know what she does but boy howdy can they make the taste buds stand up and cheer!
How 'bout ya'll?

I had to go to Ponderosa for Prime Rib.and the next time I had a date I had Corned Beef and Cabbage.... and then the last time I had a date I went for Homemade "bucket steak" OK all the southerners in here will know what this is... for you Fellow Yankees.. it's cubed steak dredged in flour and fried and then sunk into country gravy ....with mashed lumpy potatoes and bread and corn...
This has to be your last meal because eating like this will surely kill you..
Hubby misses these last meal feasts we were having
I ate this a week BEFORE I had to stop eating since it's so hard to digest red meat....

I haven't really thought about anything as a last meal. I do want pizza but I think I can be satisfied with a trip to Sabbaro at the mall just for a slice. I have to keep a food diary for Dr S and he checks it when I go in. OF course I am not sure he will be checking it between my pre op next week and my surgery date . I will have to ask that question. LOL
I am thinking I still need one REALLY good prime rib dinner, just because I know the red meat is going to be a problem after.
I have gotten used to eating the way I will need to eat after, so I almost don't really want to go pig out on anything, and I refuse to think there are things I will 'never' have again. I just won't be having them 'today'.

hmmm, I have no clue...I want everything. Pizza, shrimp and clams napolitano, fish and chips, pork chops w/apple sauce, mashed potatos and corn, Shake N Bake Chicken wings w/ rice a roni and green beans....I could go on forever. I don't really have a favorite food so Its a hard choice...

Wow..the caboose really has it planned. I want to go with him.
I am not sure it will be my last meal but I am definitly wanting that steak or prime rib dinner. I do not actually want to pig out but have a good dinner. It looks like my last real good meal will be Sat or Sun before surgery on Tuesday.
Um...Rob...ah...is this "awesome dessert" served on a plate and eaten with silverware?
(HEY, I'm just ASKIN', you alll...cheez...I WAS gonna ask if it was edible, but figured that wasn't precise enough...)
