OT: Official Proposal
I am not sure why this was necessary to question. Was there someone on our board who didn't want someone else to post? As an offishal psychiatric nurse and a member in good standing of the Marchers I would certainly have to say that the individual is

CLARIFICATION: As some Marchers are coming up on their dates, they are being delayed due to various things: WBC count, other 'unacceptable' diagnostics, etc. So they may lose their March date and be delayed to, say, April or May. As I think Va or Mo so eloquently put it early on, "Being a Marcher is not a date on a calendar, it's a state of mind/state of being/something like that" (I forget the exact PERFECT statement). What we've just put in to "law" is that if you are heartbreakingly delayed and get a different month as surgery, you are still OURS, you are STILL a Marcher in every sense of the meaning.
ALSO, there are those who are not having WLS now for one reason or another (case in hand, my precious and rebellious Angel, Kathy). She is SUCH a Marcher, there's no WAY we could, in good conscience, allow her to be taken from us. I have a surprise tattoo studio date set up for her to have "Marcher Forever" (superimposed on a picture of a scalpel) tattooed to any place of her choosing on her bod. She is not/never will be having WLS in March 2004 with the rest of us, but she's about as Marcher as they come (BTW, her biological birthdate is March 9th, same day as my WLS, so she's been a Marcher from the time she was born).
No need to get upset...it's just a total acceptance forever thing...and now it's Da Law.
