Married!! hahaha
Well after 6 long years, and alot of money spent, I am now MRS.... swede..... ok.. well swede is not my last name.. but.. lol.. i am now officially married to my swedish husband.. The entire ceremony was in swedish so i didnt know really what was going on, but when he said my name, and his name, and then paused, and he looked my way.. i figured i needed to say.. i do.... hahah.. it worked.. cause.. i got this funny lookin Swedish marraige license that says.. we are now married!! 
Lorrie...yayyyyy I am so happy for you!! Mrs. Swede lol. How awesome to get married in Sweden. Yes do give us details...well...not too many lol. CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am so dang happy for you I could cry!!

Ok a few details..lol.. Rickard, DH, sent me a random icq message one night about ohhhh i would say 8 pm my time, said hello from sweden! It was 2 am his time. We talked for like 5 hours that night, and he wa leaving for work the next morning. He works a month and is home a month. So he said he would talk to me again when he got home. To which i replied "you wont even remember me in a month"....... 
IN approximately 2 weeks i got a message in my email.. said.. its been 2 weeks, home in 2 more.. talk to you then.. I havent forgotten you yet. Now, i am wondering this next 2 weeks how the heck he got a little short email to me from the middle of the North Sea!! haha.. Well when he got home, Lorrie learned about sms messages. You see they have been quite popular in Europe for a long time. Just now getting that way in the US.
Mr Swede, he was quite taken with big ole Lorrie early on, however, Lorrie was not quite so taken with Mr YOUNGER Swede. A good friend, but.. the poor man asked me 7 times to marry him. First i said.... you are too young, you are too far, you are this, you are that........ Then.. he told me he fell in love with someone else!!!!!!!! 
Lorrie then decided right then and there, that he was someone I should have been thinking seriously about, but ... it was too late..... or was it??? 
I devised a plan.. hahahaha.. And.. to make a long story short.. I was the first one to fly to Sweden to meet him face to face. He was going to fly to the states, and had to have emergency back surgery. I deicded he could use some perkin up, and bought a ticket on a Sunday flew out on Tuesday! I had never flown out of the country before, let alone to a man who I never met before, but I had been talking to him for 3 yrs online already by this time. Nervous???????+ OH heck ya....... lol.. but when i got to the airport, and I saw him there.. I knew in my heart he was going to be my husband!!! It was ok when he hugged me and we got into the car to come to his apartment.. it was like we were old friends. That day is one I will never forget.. I spent only a week in Sweden that first time. He didnt tell anyone I was coming, so we would have uninterrupted time alone that week. I think we were never more than 2 ft from each other for the entire week!
My kids absoutely love him, and think he is the best thing for me since well before time actually!! hahah.. And so in a nutshell.. this is the story...... a girl who met a boy online.... a girl who had no clue where sweden was...... a girl who had no idea what life out there had to offer... And now.. I have found the most wonderful love of my life!
