Mary, Hi, So glad to hear your Mom is on the mend, sounds as tho you've had a rough few days. It can only get better from here, huh. My surgery is the 15th and I can't wait. Keep us posted about your Mom and both of you will be in my prayers. Va's wonderful list is "Surgery Type and Date" or something like that. Make sure you sign up on it. Aw, Mary... I'm so sorry 'bout your Mom, but so glad she's "perked". My mom has had several strokes, has TIAs repeatedly and some odd-ball kind of mini-stroke about every few weeks. Amazingly, she's FINE except for dragging her leg, and while she's having the TIAs/strokes, she's pretty wacky and sleeps alot, then has no memory of it afterward. Isn't it heart-wrenching to see your Mom, the one who always took care of YOU, become ill? I've become so much closer to mine these past few years (we've always been close), and it just yanks my heart out to see how aged and 'ill' she's become. We should've "lost' her several times, but that little 4' 9" rotund woman is the FIGHTINGEST person I know! I'm adding you both to my prayer list... Kimmer Proud To Admit She Loves Her Mommy Zero-minus-11 and 5 work days to go!

My 89 year mom had a bad angina spell last night. We call her the Timex Woman--she takes a licking and keeps on ticking. She is tired but seems otherwise OK this morning! It IS tough to see them like that! Here's a prayer that our loved ones will stay well while we go through this! Joy
