Don't let them scare you off.

For everyone who doesn't quite understand the post about titles and newpouch and squirrel catchers and a judge, and the such...DON'T WORRY, YOU ARE NOT ALONE! They are a group of folks among the Marchers who are just having some fun in the midst of all this anxiety and anticipation. They are also very helpful , committed to helping others and they are supportive - so you only need to ask. Sometimes I find their posts a little confusing with all the accented language, and the pictures all over. So I simply read though them, and either understand them or skip them. (If there are too many pics - I skip). In addition to our highly entertaining group you also have other dedicated "normal' folks who like to help. Now I just want to tell you that I am a registered nurse and worked for 10 years as a psych nurse. The folks who think they are a judge, squirrel catcher, jester, canary, and on and on - ARE NOT CRAZY! However it wouldn't take much to push them over the edge. Please post here and don't get scared off by the funnies. After all we are Marching together.

Hi Louise! (sorry, had to put at least one in for ya!) As one of the ones who like the funniness (crazieness?) I have to say that you said this very well. We don't intend to scare anyone off and we hope that we haven't done that. I think everyone eases their tensions in different ways and this is one of them. Thanks for telling everyone we're not crazy (okay, so I had to add another one)! You are right we are all Marching together and we don't want anyone who has a serious question or concern to feel that they can't post that here. We are here to support and help answer questions as well as have fun and pass the time until our surgery. What a great post! I know what Louise means....it almost turned me off. But, I am hard-headed and not easily discouraged, so I tried to understand what was going on and lo and behold...it turned out to be a bunch of nice folks...but I just want to add that it was almost a little "rude" to have so many inside jokes among all of you. I don't know if you had your March dates a long time ago or not, but I have only had mine a week....so this was totally new to me. So, yes, for any "newcomers" just discovering us....(OMG we need an "offischal welcome wagon person!" do we have that?) WELCOME TO THE BOARD! And I am going to go out on a limb here and tell y'all that I do not like the work "newpouch" and won't be using it....sorry.

I guess I must be one of the really crazy ones. I have been here since I got my date 1 mth and 5 dys ago and I have understood the Language and the craziness. I like the laid back way we can communicate with each other and I know if I have a serious question I can get an answer from someone.
