Today is my blood work and EKG with the PCP then next thursday another trip to Salisbury to see Dr S for my pre op stuff (more measurements and pictures and what ever else they do there....). For all the times I have had blood work, I have to admit I am TERRIFIED today that for some reason my surgery will be denied after this. I have fatty liver infiltration, and 2 years ago when I had every blood test known to mankind to determine what was wrong with my liver functions, the gastroentronologist said that I was in danger of getting non-alcoholic cirosis (spelling) of the liver. I have been very careful for the last two years, but only really gave up drinking completely as of New Years Eve. Anyway, now I have written down my fears, so I am one step closer to conquering them. Thank you all for being here and holding my hand through all this. Hugs, Mo doin' the 24 days and a wake up happy Mo dance

Kimmer - what a great idea. I need to invest in some sticky notes. I always have to either say them right away or forget. ( That's my ADD hard at work. ) Dina ----I can see it now....loaded down with yellow squares with no monitor in sight!!!

G'mornin, oh Dungeon Master o' Ours! It's something I've been doing for years. If I get something to pray for at home, I put it on a sticky note, then put that sticky note on my badge to transfer it to my monitor in the morning. Wild, eh? I watch this monitor most of my day. Good place to keep those prayer requests within eyeshot... BUT the funniest part is that EVERYONE here at work knows 'bout "Kimmer's Monitor", and I'll come in from the field or something and find another sticky note added...they just come in and put their prayer requests on my monitor themselves now if I'm not here. I often discover stuff like "Pray for Margie's friend" and have no idea what the deal is, but I don't have to know: the Lord knows what it is before I even begin to raise my voice in prayer about it. They're "unspoken requests". Yup. I'm gonna be in DEEP DOO-DOO when I come back after surgery and no long have a desk job (I've chosen a different position in order to get out of the grips of Da Evil Boss Lady, and the new position is out on the workroom floor...). I'm gonna have to take my little "memory jogger" instruction book and read it post-op so I'lll be able to REMEMBER half of these requests. I pray all day long...seldom even get out a whole sentence.
