Weight Loss, Do we Have a Plan
It is important to not make this a competition. We are all different. Reporting is important, the frequency of weighing should fit the individual.
I've been involved on weight loss boards for years and the tendency is for people to report success and not struggles. Let's be sure to applaud the ones who are dropping lbs at the moment, while still encouraging those who may be at a plateau.
Just a thought...

Well said Joy. That's what we are all about total and complete support!! Everyone needs to feel comfortable posting no matter their weight loss status. We will support you no matter what is going on. If there is a stall or a gain, we will put our heads together and figure out what is going on or just encourage eachother to hang in there and not give up.

Hey, Sugarplum!
I really hadn't thought about it. Believe it or not, I've never been motivated by a scale. I look like I weigh a LOT less than I actually do 'cuz of my musculature, so scales never really did anything for me...
I've also been told by both surgeons that I won't lose as much or as quickly as other WLS folks 'cuz I don't have as much to lose. Wasn't exactly what I wanted to hear, but it's reality, so I'll take it and live with it. But beware...you may see that ugly whiney side of me come out... I don't think I'll ever be able to become a member of "The Century Club" (when ya lose 100 pounds). Oh well...
I guess when I have to weigh-in (Dr's?) and find out I've lost, I'll be happy and share it. When I need to be reminded 'bout what my surgeons told me 'bout being a slow loser, I'll need you all to remind me. Maybe repeatedly. But I can't WAIT to hear everyone ELSE's milestones.
