Hi, my name is Lori, I live in Oklahoma City, OK... and am 26 years old with BMI of 52.2... WOW!!!! I have been married for almost 7 years, my 7 year anniversary is April 26... and we don't have any kidos, but are going to try in a couple of years... I don't actually have a date yet, but am still holding out hope for a March date... Just thought I'd jump in and introduce myself... thanks to Virgina & Whitney for inviting me here, and being my 2 special angels... over this past weekend I've had a roller coaster ride with my surgeons office and both of my angels were very comforting and EXTREMELY helpful in getting me back on track and getting me motivated enough to find another surgeon... I've been lurking for a couple of days and already LOVE this place... Well I guess that's it for me... Love Lori

Hi Lori! And welcome! I am kinda new here myself. But I find it reassuring when I have fears. I am scheduled for my surgery March 8th! Less then 2 weeks to go! I have been trying for the surgery for 2 years now and it is FINALLY going to happen! Insurance companies have been giving me a hard time. So I finally had to change to a different one this past July, 2003. So I feel like I am ready!!! Good luck and keep us posted! Vanessa

Hey Lori... You're walkin with the angels now!!!! More like Marchin with the Angels... good for you.. weigh to go!!! When people get pushed around the ones pushing don't count on a place like this with all of this support and experience... No one here is post op BUT all have dealt with the Surgeons.. PCP's and INSURANCE COMPANIES ugggh.... We'll make ya laugh and smile and pee yourself.. and we'll pick ya up when you're down too... Looking forward to your posts!!!!
