Hi Mary, Congrats on you date

First of all everyone gets nervous and worries they might do something to screw it all up. Listen to what your Dr tells you that's the most important. Second this is a great board to come to and ask questions get hints and tips from others. Since we are all pre-ops we are going to all go through this together! You will find lots of friends and there are a few nuts running around so beware

Hi Mary,

Welcome to the Marchers!!! You have just found the best bunch of people on the boards....bar none! I just want to point out a couple of things. There are NO "stupid" or "dumb" questions.

And, if you have a fear or worry just post it because you will likely find that you are NOT ALONE. All the Marchers are here for each other,

to uplift and support one another. I think most of us are worried about messing up after surgery. We have tried and "failed" so many things in our quest to lose weight that it is hard to believe that this one will work for us. Even with all the successful people on here and that we are able to meet at local support groups. I know I'm afraid that I will be that ONE that the surgery doesn't work for. But I think as long as we follow our Dr.'s orders for eating and exercising and take in all the protein and water we are supposed to, we WILL be successful. So, bring your fears one and all and let us help you out with them. Welcome and be sure to post to Virginia so that you can be added to the list. That way we can pray for you when it's time for your surgery. God Bless!!!

Welcome Mary!!! You're a Marcher now!!! COme and post and chat and laugh!!!! Ask questions and if you know an answer then go ahead and share with us!!!! You won't mess up after surgery because there's no way you've come this far to turn back!!! Besides the whole point of the surgery is that your new pouch teaches you what is and is not acceptable... You must really want this tool or you wouldn't be here.. You're gonna do Great!!!
