Hiya everyone!!! My name is Nicole, I'm 34 years old, Ive been married for 10 years 5 months to Michael Jackson(yes that's his name no jokes please we've heard them all LOL) I am 5" and my BMI is 41. I have 3 children my son is 14 and 2 girls 13 and 11. My hubby is in the Coast Guard. We have moved 6 times in 10 years right now we live in NY and in May we are moving to Key West Florida. I am a certified pharmacy technician I am a drug dealer LMAO. I have GERD(Protonix), High blood pressure(Norvasc 5mg, HTCZ 25mg), boarderline diabetic, Sicitica nerve(Motrin800, Bextra), joint pain and asthma(albuterol inhaler, Aerodil inhaler) yep I take medication like I'm 70 years old. I have done all of my pre-op testing and am scheduled for surgery on March 9th. since I am out of network I might have to come out of pocket about 1000.00. My insurance is Tricare Prime, it is the military insurance. I am having an open RNY. I am traveling 6 1/2 hours away to PA to the live-lite center so I will be in the hospital for 4 days minimum. ok thats it for now ~Nicole

OK...lets see..Melissa Johnson..Married (2nd time) Got rid of the first hubby, funny thing..I just COULDN"T get along with his little skinney assed Girlfriend I don't play 2nd fiddle to anyone. I am again married to the man that I think that I was suppose to marry to start off with but was too dumb to see it, anyways....BMI 48 I think...5'4 weight 280. SEVERE GERD killer knee pain..can't walk up stairs unassisted..I"m 39 and holding.. NO kids..a newphew that I raised since I was the age of 11.2 cats, 2 dogs I'm a Neuro Nurse and love my job, involved with the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, ALS and Parkinson's. Insurance approved me within an hour of recv'ing my paper work. paying 100%... Surgery date 3/01/04...wishin it was today..I've never taken a vacation from work. this will be the first time in 10 yrs that I've missed more than 2 days in a row..its gonna be tough. Feelin positive and focused. MJ

Hello-- I am Sally, and one of the oldest not only here in March, but on this whole website...I am 63 tomorrow! I have all but forgotten my birthday in the excitement of being approved last Friday. I have a BMI of 37, have high BP and cholesterol, arthritis, bad back and had 2 surgeries in 2002 for stress incontinence and vaginal prolapses (5 of them)--my gyne/surgeon says relapse is likely without losing weight and both he and my PCP are behind me. My insurance covers WLS with medical neccessity and only once in a lifetime at 90%. I was denied first attempt and approved after my appeal letter only 1 week later, so they are pretty cool. I have a day job as admin assist to a CIO of a large computer department at the corporate headquarters of Crate & Barrel....AND I have my own business selling vintage lovelies and create costumes and sell on eBay. Want to retire next year and be slim and trim and healthy to enjoy my senior years....and have a boyfriend who is 67. I have 3 grown kids and 4 grandkids-18,16,10 and 8.

Sorry this is so late.... I'm kelley with a current BMI of 39 point something. My surgery date is March 12, 2004. I am married to a GREAT man and together we have 3 beautiful kids. Ages 2, 4 and 6. My husband is also having surgery. His date is April 9, 2004. I am so ready to do this! I had my final consult today. Finally it feels so real! Kelley 16 days and a wake up!
