Hello Everyone
Hi Everyone...I am not so much new to OH just new to THIS board in particular. I have a surgery date for 8 days from now and I am scared to death. I was not too scared at first. When I first found out that I was approved for the surgery it turned into only around 10% nervousness; however, now it is like 50/50. Although I am not reconsidering it, I am terrified of what could happen with me. I know this will be a long journey but it is a journey well worth it. I just wanted to say hello to everybody and wish all good luck on your upcoming surgeries!!! God Bless!!!
Welcome to the March board. This group is very very supportive from what I can see so far. A GREAT group of people. I think being scared is pretty normal. We all go through it. Just try to stay busy and get things ready for your return back home. Thats what I am doing. It helps to keep the old brain occupied and not dwell on what MIGHT be.!!
Good luck with your surgery, and Congrats on making it this far!!

Hi Bethany
I think what you are going through is pretty normal. Just keep a positive attitude and try to think ahead of how your health will improve and how wonderful you will feel physically, emotionally and mentally with all that weight off.
Think about the confidence you have in your doctor.
And pray for peace in your heart, and I will be praying for you too.

Hi Bethany Hey I heard they don't have ANY food at that resort you be vactioning at. And the only activities they have are lovely scenic walks and button pushing games. I'm sure they have wonderful adjustable beds and the staff waits on you hand and foot. Of course family members are welcome at NO extra charge. Who could ask for more??????
