Stupid Question

Hi LaDonna, I have seen people countdown to their surgery different ways. The way I like the best that I have seen is to say "17 days and a wake up". I don't count today and the day of the surgery is the "wake up" part. I think everybody has their own way of counting down. Just count and be HAPPY because you are almost there! Prayers coming your way for a smooth surgery and a very speedy and uneventful recovery! God Bless!!!!! Carrie

I figure if it was tomorrow, I'd count 1 day to go, so I figure it from there so that I still have 1 day left on the day before! Are you more confused than ever?? Joy

Hey LaDonna, Believe me, no question is considered stupid on this board!!!! I have seen some replies recently though that obviously some folks have engaged their fingers before engaging their brains!!! So darlin' if you gotta question feel free to ask it here without being put down!!! In my count down I don't count today but I do count the day of my surgery. Most seem to count that way. We are both 3/2 girls so in my way of counting we are into single digits now. But you do it anyway you want, we don't care. Be worry free, be excited, the adventure of a lifetime begins next week!!! I just got totally sidetracked because of this question. I put a counter on my page for the countdown and it was always a day off and I couldn't figure it out! Well, I finally did - it was the stupid leap year....this place hasn't accounted for it. Yeesh! And I am like the others - count tomorrow through surgery date and not today. LaDonna remember when you were in school and the teacher used to always say that there are no stupid questions? Well think about it that way because "THERE ARE NOT STUPID QUESTIONS" and believe me someone else had the same question, you were just brave enough to ask it 302lbs/22days in counting

I have seen so many questions on these forums and some have been funny and a little odd and even downright hilarious.. BUT NONE WERE STUPID Where else could you possibly go and ask these questions?? Who else would know the answers?? I could write a book on the stuff I have learned from other ppl's questions.. As for RUDE individuals who feel called upon to talk down to ppl they should be ignored.. You know the whole thing about treat others the way you'd want to be treated .... Also.. "Ignore it and it will go away" Being people of size we're real good at ignoring ignorant people... Ask Away and If I don't know the answer I will surely make one up and blame it on Kimmer!!!!!
