Sounds so superficial and I shouldnt care because I have a great man, but, it is a self esteem booster, isnt it? 2.WHAT IS YOUR DREAM OUTFIT/SHOES? Cute v-neck top, fitted. Pair of low-rise boot cut jeans, with pointy toed shoes or strappy sandals. Hair and make up just right.. Ahhhh. 3.IS THERE A PARTICULAR PERSON YOU REALLY WANT TO SHOW OFF TO AFTER YOUVE LOST THE WEIGHT? 2 people. 2 old friends. My grandmother, well, she's just scared and things everyone should eat a lot.. lol. My Aunt because she worked out and was able to lose weight that way. Sit in a chair and pull my legs up. Right now there's barely enough room for butt. 2.WHAT IS YOUR DREAM OUTFIT/SHOES? Regular (non-stretch) jeans and any shirt tucked in with strapy sandals 3.IS THERE A PARTICULAR PERSON YOU REALLY WANT TO SHOW OFF TO AFTER YOUVE LOST THE WEIGHT? The a$$ in St Augustine who took it upon his self to holler out his car window just to be sure I knew I was fat. I am holding a grudge but gee it was my Birthday and my 2nd Honeymoon. Did anyone get that tag??? 4.HAS ANYONE IN YOUR LIFE BEEN TOTALLY NEGATIVE ABOUT YOUR DECISION? I haven't noticed. 1.WHAT IS ONE THING YOU CANT WAIT TO DO AFTER SURGERY THAT YOU COULD NOT DO BEFORE? Not be in pain 24/7. 2.WHAT IS YOUR DREAM OUTFIT/SHOES? Not really my "dream" outfit, but one I haven't worn since 1988 (at my Dad's memorial service when he passed away). It's a Chaus dress, fuschia silk, beateau neckline with navy silk piping on the edges, long sleeves with cuffs with navy piping on the edges, fitted waste with belt, full flowing skirt, navy piping around all edges of the tie belt, navy piping around the bottom of the hem of the dress and also inset about 5 inches above the bottom hem parallel to the bottom. It's just stunning, is definitely a "power dress", but is a size 10. I have a pair of Prada-knock-off leather fuschia stilettos that I wear with it. It's one of my favorite outfits ever, I'll will be THRILLED to wear it again. 3.IS THERE A PARTICULAR PERSON YOU REALLY WANT TO SHOW OFF TO AFTER YOUVE LOST THE WEIGHT? A now-estranged friend of mine who always used to tell me "you're so fat that you'll never get a guy...". This was when I was a HUGE size 14, newly divorced, trying to buy a house and was having serious life-problems to deal with. She was always a size 2 or 4 and always 'held it over' my head (sheeya, I cared...at one time she looked like an Auschwitz survivor...). She's always had major emotional and self-esteem issues, and I was the only REAL friend she had, although she was never a friend to me. I know I'll be running in to her eventually although I haven't seen or spoken to her in about 2 years. Success will be my best revenge... 4.HAS ANYONE IN YOUR LIFE BEEN TOTALLY NEGATIVE ABOUT YOUR DECISION? My sister who had an open RNY in September of 2001. 5.HOW MANY HAVE A HANGOVER AFTER THE DRUNKEN ALL-DAY PARTY THE BOARD HAD ON FRIDAY? I don't feel like thinking about it. I hurt all over. Hi Everyone, 1- have tons of fun with my kids and chase our 2 yr old around without feeling like I am going to fall down and have a heart attack!! 2-to wear coveralls (sounds dumb) and look thin in them. 3-my ex he is such an ass, sorry about the language! 4-no everyone has been just wonderful. friends,family people from church! 5-No hangover but love the people on this board so much.Hard to imagine just a week ago I didn't know any of you and I feel like I know so many now.This is going to be my home away from home.And more so after surgery.I'm going to need support and am going to be giving as good as I get. I have a purple and black Adolfo suit that I haven't been able to wear since probably 1989/1990. I think it is a 12 or a 14, I really hope to be smaller than that eventually, but I hope that I get a chance to wear it on the way past. AND I have purple suede shoes that go with it. 3.IS THERE A PARTICULAR PERSON YOU REALLY WANT TO SHOW OFF TO AFTER YOUVE LOST THE WEIGHT? ooooooh, that is a toughie. I have one chat buddy who hasn't been really impressed with the idea of my surgery, but she hasn't been TOTALLY negative, just a little when I decided to do this.
