BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT....
People have this surgery and some die.. fact... we know this.. Please don't go looking there and getting all depressed...
I truly regretted it.. I don't know who told you to go lookin but the right advice is....
DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY... A positive outlook is imperative right now....
Just my opinion
Hey Kathy,
Good advice, was there about 5 months ago, now is not the time to jump into that area. Toooooooo depressing.
Oh and Kathy, I've been to your profile and would like to deliver a few choice words to CORI...although they'd turn a deaf ear. But I have to say that there is a reason your having such a hard time getting this surgery down. God has most assuredly closed that door for now. Don't give up though, heal your broken heart, then please, please try again.
Happy thoughts,

Just curious, but WHO told you to go to the Memorial Site and WHY did they tell you to go there? What was their reasoning for sending you there?
Simply out of great concern for you, we're all advising you not to go there 'til after surgery if you feel you must go there. It's NOT an uplifting place to go, and right now, before surgery, you need to concentrate on positive, good things about WLS. You need to put yourself into the best frame of mind that you can. Going to the Memorial Site is NOT going to do that for you.
We're here to help each other thru this, and we've already learned a LOT from each other. NOT going to the Memorial Site at this time is one of the BIGGIES we've learned. It'll be there afterward, ya know?
Just trying to make sure you're looking forward...
