I was TOTALLY expecting SOME kind of pre-op roto-rooting the day before. It was my anesthesiologist that wants me on the clear fluids the day before. I was STILL waiting for that nasty stuff...nope.
Just goes to show how TOTALLY much each surgeon varies. I feel VERY blessed that I don't have to do it, and my surgeon is a general surgeon, not just a WLS surgeon, has been in practice for ~20 years, so he obviously knows what he's doing. I guess I still think my pre-op is WAY too easy by comparison, so I just pray harder for everyone else (thank GOODNESS for Va's list!).
