Hey, hey, hey! WELCOME!!
You're not only a Marcher (March Surgery), but you're also a "NINER" (surgery is on the 9th, 19th or 29th). I'm getting re-plumbed on the 9th myself...CAN'T WAIT!
You've got a busy couple of weeks comin' up. Hang around here 'n you'll not only learn alot, you'll learn that most feel exactly as you do. We're all pulling each other thru this together (pulling some yelling and screaming!). At the least, you'll get at least a FEW laughs!
See ya around the board!

Hi Kym!!
My birthday is March 9th and I am Kimmer's Angel for her big day!!!
I have had the greenfield filter put in and it was NO BIG DEAL.. I was awake for the whole thing.. I was laying there talking to them while they did it...
My BMI is so high they didn't want to put me to sleep if they didn't have to and believe me I didn't feel a thing
I went thru Harper and the staff was top notch.. they were so awesome and Dr Talbert is a king among Dr's..
They stuck a thing in my neck and threaded the filter down to the vena cava and poured in some dye and took an x-ray to see where it was and I was DONE... took longer to remove all the tape they had on me.. I went home about an hour later with a band aid...
They took a chest x ray and gave me some juice and crackers.. as soon as I peed I could go.. no big deal..
ALTHOUGH they make you remove your underwear and this creeped me out.. but since then I have found I love running around without them
I had a stiff neck for a few days like when I sleep wrong on it and that was it....
You're gonna kick butt.. like all Marchers and Niners...
