Angel problem? SOLUTION!!!
A lot of first weekers still do not have angels. It is up to the Marchers to solve this problem. I suggest that first weekers and third weekers pair up and be angels for each other. (by 2 weeks out that should not be a problem for first weekers).
That will leave second weekers and fourth weekers to pair up in the same way.
Va's list will make this easy. Just pick someone off your partner's date range and make contact either via email or as a reply to this post.
Come on gang--team up!
Angel responsibilities are to encourage your angelette in whatever way you wish, to encourage others to sign their surgery page, to make contact after surgery and to report back their progress. Not hard at all, and you do not have to be in the same locale, so let's go Marchers! Just another way to support each other!

Hmmmmm...Melenia & Joy,
That poses an interesting idea...should I go back through and include states for the March List????
It's not absolutely necessary for 's to live in the same area. But with the new HIPPA laws your angel will have to be listed in your hospital admission paperwork as a person to release info to. That is if your angel is going to be able to call and check on you if you're zonked.
Last names are a must between Angels! I found out it's real hard to locate a room number when you don't know your Angelette's last name. The nice volunteers on Tuesday had smoke coming out of their ears, after searching the database for "Amy" who had surgery that morning and was a patient of Dr. Keith's.
I had bought her the cutiest purple cow, and of course when I went back Wednesday (after I was given pertinent info from our dietician as where to find my Angelette) much to my chagrine the volunteer's recognized the cow...the purple one not me!!
Anyway, thoughts to ponder.

Va...
You remind me of me at work...always trying to go one step further and be more thorough.
Don't EVEN worry 'bout the states. Your list is already way more comprehensive than I'd've ever imagined it'd be.
As we read the posts, the states are with the posters' names. We can figure it out from there. (Well, I'll help Kelley...)
You are simply EXTRAORDINARY!!!

My suggestion is once you have an angel, exchange contact info by email. If someone is calling people for you from the hospital, put your angel in the call list. If not, call yourself when you are awake and able. In state or out, there is no way that you will pull any information out of any medical professional these days--
