WOW. "STIFF" board!

Well Kimmer you're so right.. if you want any attention on that board you have to use a certain WLS Surgeon's Group.. they ignore everyone else which is a shame.. It wasn't always like that.. If you want them to respond to your post ask a question about their Dr and you'll get TONS of responses.... I promise... Glad that you all had room for the permanent pre op cast off cast out big mouthed rebel..

Yeah, that's painfully obvious. It really doesn't matter to me - I'm thrilled with my PRIVATE surgeon, am not much into that production-line dog and pony show I see (especially on TV...bleech! Gimme a break!). That and another "production-line" bariatric center in SE Michigan remind me of the place where the Stepford Wives are re-programmed...very scary! Something ELSE hit me this morning while surfing the Main message board. What's with all the 'enabling' of The Elite? One of the most recognized names on the main board said that last nite she was having a chocolate craving, so called her kid on his cell to bring her back something (the ball would've stopped there had that been MY mom...no way would I have brought her something home that I knew she could dump on!). Anyway, he brought her a Cadbury Egg, and she snarfed it down and didn't dump. She was telling 'bout it this morning and I could hear the applause and cheers in the background from the groupies, or "sheeple". CHEEZ! I'll be DARNED if I'll ever say "Oh, you deserved it..." or "Isn't that just special?" if I saw one of 'us' post that. I'd simply refrain from posting my honest opinion. But these sheeple were fighting to give her the best word of praise for her accomplishment! I mean, COME ON! This is a gal who quite often reams out others on the board for their indulgences and weaknesses, and they take her scolding as caring and continually praise her wisdom. But then she turns around and pulls THIS? And her little sheeple are applauding her?!? I dunno...I'm not a hypocrite. As my Mom says, "We've all got warts" (faults). And I don't know what my 'breaking point' will be: we all have them. But then, I'd NEVER get up and flaunt a chocolate Cadbury indulgence and allow the sheeple to praise me for it, either. Did one of her sheeple try it and dump? Was SHE the cause of the dumping that sheeple went thru, testing the waters? I dunno. I'm thinking I should just stay the heck away from those boards. I just can't stand seeing stuff like that. Think I'm just gonna keep to my Marchers. A lot less stressful that way.
