March 22
Well, Like Marla, I am wondering what to take to the hospital. I dont have a laptop unfortunately. That will have to wait until I get home. I have thought about my clothes. I am sure to be smaller once I go back to work. I hope I have something to wear. I am getting nervous and anxious. Please feel free to email me if you would like to chat.
Thanks
Welcome to the Marchers, LeAnne!!!! We are getting quite a group going now for March 22
What kind of work do you do? There is a clothing exchange here on OH, and some of us have discussed an exchange among the Marchers, as well, so you do have some resources available to you.
I will be in Concord in May for 12 days (can you say NASCAR .. lol).
I get nervous when people ask me if I am getting nervous. I am excited, and scared, but I have trusted in myself and this decision and it wasn't something I did without 2 1/2 years of thought, but once I made up my mind, I wanted it DONE and done NOW!!!!
Hugs,
Mo (with the happy Mo dancin' feet )

Hi LeAnne,
Don't worry so much about buying clothes for after surgery.. Everyone on the MI board talks about going to the thrift stores all the time.. for very little money they get nice used clothes and they don't even need them for long before they have to go back and get smaller sizes...so I am sure you'll do fine in this area....
It's BIG clothes you can never find at thrift stores
As for what to take to the hospital... your own toiletries... slippers.. chapstick.. lotion a wooden spoon and wet wipes.. I have read post ops who brought tons of stuff only to find they slept the whole 1st day and just got up to walk... books and music and such were forgotten about.
Most enjoyed visiting with the other new post ops and making friends..
Good Luck....

Wow...dunno how I missed you, but "Welcome to the Marchers!"
Looks like Mo and my personal Angel, Kathy, have filled you in on stuff. Bop around the posts and you'll learn a lot. Don't let the initial "subject line" fool you...when some of these posts get going, they lead into many different topics than the original subject! Besides, it's cheaper than buying a magazine for interesting stuff!
We'll look forward to seeing ya around!!
