I didn't sleep last night until 4am. I can't stop thinking about being in Mexico a month from today and starting my new life. I hope everyone is well and I check the surgery dates for Dr. Aguirre every day and say a prayer for those I know are in his hands as I write this. Debbie

I'm having a hard time sleeping too. I think thats why I've been "off the walls" latley. I'm just so damn excited! Yesterday was my one month mark and I had no clue. My dear friend Michele told me and I was shocked. How could I not know that, after all I've been counting down the days...Anyway, I wish you the best of luck!!!!! Kelley 27 days and a wake up!!! WOOHOO!!!

Thank you Thank you. I feel like I am living, breathing wls. Here I am at work and this is what I am doing. I cannot sleep either. I told my pcp that I all I do is think about this, talk about this, read about this. And he said.."GOOD, you need to be informed." March 16th cannot get here soon enough. I have protein drinks all over my dinning table from the supplied I got from Susan Marie this week. It felt like Christmas.

Oh ... My ... Gosh! This is how I DO get to sleep each night. Drifting off to to sleep each night with comforting thoughts and a smile on my face while in my mind I am moving through the motions of strolling downtown exploring my first day away from home listening to the sounds of live salsa basa nova music playing in the background. Imagining it would be the same way it is like in the French Quarters of New Orleans but with no jazz.

Went to a consultation and the dr said "THERE ARE NO PATIENTS ON EARTH BETTER EDUCATED THAN ONE WHO IS HAVING BARIATRIC SURGERY" I wholeheartedly agree!!!!! Unfornuately this is also what keeps you up at night... What other surgery do you have to fist fight the insurance company to get and then get scheduled over a month in advance????? NO wonder you can't sleep... This is the biggest challenge of your life and you're one step away from seeing it all come together!!!! The excitement you are feeling is so great because you're finally going to be able to throw down the pom poms and get into the game!!!!! You can sleep during surgery Kathy

You said a lot there! I'm amused at myself because I am having a hysterectomy the same day and I have spent virtually no thought about that and have asked very few questions. Meanwhile I can think of nothing outside the WLS. Go figure! Joy (3/1)
