Karen Honey, I am so right there with you. I find myself eating a lot (I think it is a subconcious effort on my part to keep from losing weight - I'm at the borderline from qualifying for surgery my BMI is slightly above 40 - and I don't want to get told that I can't have it) I have never in my life actually tried NOT to lose weight this is a new thing for me - even when I was pregnant, they wanted me to lose a few pounds and definately did not want me to gain any!! As far as being emotional!! YES!!! I too worry about the kids (plus, this has been such an emotional few months anyway - I went from losing a baby to deciding to have WLS in 2 months) Two nights ago, my husband woke from a deep sleep to find me crying He wanted to know what was wrong - That day marked the 3 month anniversary of our losing our Reece, I received an invitation to a baby shower the same day, I thought I needed to write letters to my family "just in case" and started thinking about what I would say, then I started worrying that my 2 year old would forget me ( and it all just became too much!!!). I cried for hours and then told myself that I was just being silly (crying does help though, it cleanses - at least it does for me). That's why we are here to help eachother through this. because, our families might not completely understand what it is that we are going through, but your friends here do. Whitney
