I agree COMPLETELY NORMAL......
To get through this part I would suggest just "keeping your eye on the prize"
Like when you are going on a trip.. You never focus on the 9 hour car ride you just think about your destination!!!
If you thought about getting into the car and riding around all day and being stuck in traffic and being hungry and having to pee and nasty gas station bathrooms and how cramped up you'll be on the trip... YOU wouldn't go!!!!
But we all think.. when I get there I am going to be on vacation and relax and have fun etc...
So think... after surgery I will be healthier and happier and thinner and more active etc...
SEE???? Now you're not even worried about the surgery anymore... it's all about the destination not the trip!!!!!!

Hi Lisa. Yes I think it's normal to have your doubts. It was such a long process for me to get a surgery date that I had about 10 months to consider and reconsider it all. I can imagine how amplified it must be for you having it happen so quickly. What I keep going back to in my mind is the hundreds and hundreds of failed dieting attempts. If I could have been successful at it on my own I would have been already. I believe everything happens for a reason. Have faith.
