Yo, MO!! When ya go to Sam's, check out the cases of "Ice Botanicals" and "Fruit-2-0". They're "Splenda-ed" (made with Splenda) and are FABULOUS! I've got a couple cases of each set aside for my first few weeks post-op. My favorite one is an "Ice Botanicals" (I think...), is "Key Lime" flavored. Hey, My Footloose Fiend... I told my nutritionist 'bout 'em, and she loves 'em too (she had open RNY in Sept. 03 her OWN self!). She said she went back to get more and when she got home, her 24 year old daughter informed her that the Ice Botanicals she brought home this time were 'sparkling'. She told me to watch out and make sure the ones I buy aren't sparkling (they aren't). I didn't realize that they make both now... I'm gonna have NO problems at all suckin' down THIS stuff!! I had a couple spoonfuls of cottage cheese and a slice of hard salami. I had another one of those "chaotic" days after work, and by the time I got home, it was just too late to eat. Oh, I gulped down some SF Koolaid, too. My, oh, my...I'm one well-balanced eater, aren't I? (Obviously, this will change since I won't be allowed to unintentionally miss meals. My Mom and I were talking, and she said I'll probably be eating more AFTER surgery than I do now...go figure...) Cottage chesse uh? I've never liked that stuff. I'm hoping after surgery if my "buds" change I'll like it. I haven't tried it again in years, so who knows I may just get LUCKY! My tummy is jumping all around inside...My excitement is so extreme today. I have no clue why...? But, you know what? I like it, I like it A LOT! YEAH BABY!!!!! Gonna be a fun day today! WOOHOO! Hey, hey, HEY!! WATCH what you say 'bout my little buddies! They're just telling you (crooning to you) to bring in any coupon...ANY kind...for oil changes, or whatever...and you'll get a discount on the sammiches. But be careful of paper cuts...while you're cutting out the coupons...to get a discount on the sammiches. They're little angels! Matter of fact, I was out in the field earlier, and I saw a Quiznos, 'n I stopped 'cuz one of the Quiznos chicken subs {can't remember the name, think it's mesquite...chicken, bacon, cheese, I add mild peppers and have 'em put raspberry chipolte on it.....YUMMY!} is on my List Of Things I Must Eat Before Surgery So I Won't Miss It So Badly For Many Months. First thing I asked as I RAN in was "Hey, when are you guys gonna be selling those little furry hamster things that are singing on your commercials? I need a dozen or so..." The gal couldn't have been more than 18, had 5 different piercings on her face, bright mahogany-red hair in little rows and poofs here and there, and she squealed and said "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEWW! Those things are RETARDED! They make me SICK!" I just kinda sheepishly said "Oh. Then I'd like to order a sammich..." and ordered. She kinda watched me outta the corner of her eye the entire time I was in there. What? Did I look like an axe murderer or sumpin'? I'm sorry, I LOVE those little hairballs! Anyway, I'm glad ya finally saw 'em. They GROW on ya. Now every time I see 'em, I run to the screen to see if I can figure out anything more about 'em... Well, I'm outta here...gotta go to my anesthesiologist consultation (cool, another appointment down and one step closer to surgery...) then go get my Mommy who's gonna spend the weekend with me. We're gonna hang out in our 'jamins and watch movies 'n sleep! She's the best! Laterness!
