Kelly, Hushpuppies are seasoned cornbread rolled in a ball or cylinder shaped, fried side item for fish dishes. Do you have Long John Silvers in your area? They serve hushpuppies with every fish order. Va

eh, it was alright...I didn't end up making the rice pilaf I made spanish rice (liptonin a bag) instead...Didn't like it. I wish I had made the pilaf. No more fake spanish rice for me. Back to the original rice and beans. Good luck with your ultrasound tomorrow! Kelley

I was lazy tonight. Just a spanish omelet made with eggbeaters. I did splurge and put a little shredded mexican cheese over the top of it. I am really working on building up my protein and keeping the fats down and the right kind of carbs. After work tomorrow I need to hit Sam's club and get more of my protein bars and check out the powders for shakes. This eating 5 to 6 times a day is getting to me. But I am following the doctor's instructions and practicing for my 'after life'. I have spent so much of my life feeling that I couldn't eat, that it's hard to believe that I HAVE to eat to lose. My doctor insists on 100 grams of supplemental protein even after going back to a regular (solid food) diet, so I had better be finding a shake mix that I like. LOL hugs, Mo (with the happy mo dancin' feet )

Hey, you did fine. That mexican cheese is just more protein for you I never could do the 5-6 small meals a day. I never knew what to eat. I'm normally a 1 or 2 meal a day person. I normally don't have breakfast or lunch, but have been since Jan 5th only cause my dietitian told me I had to Have you checked out http://www.molecularnutrition.net/index2.htm for the free WHEY FRUITY samples? You should, they are pretty good. Fruit punch and Lemonade. Well good luck with your new eating plan! Talk to you later! Kelley

Kelley, You must not be a southerner -- hushpuppies are a southern thing. Yummy good!!!!!!! We had seared marinated pork steaks, garlic/cheddar mashed new potatoes, and fried okra. Delicious!!! Definately from the south - pork, potatoes, and fried okra -- the only way to go (at least until my wake up!!! Then it will be off limits to me). I really gotta work on my recipes!!! Whitney
