I'm an Addict!!!

My name is Whitney and I'm a web addict!!!! This has really become a problem for me. When I can't I get on the web and then I can't make myself get off no matter how tired I am. It'll be 3:00am and I finally make my self go to bed. I then want to sleep until 11:00am. Then I get back on to check and see if my hubby sent me any messages from work (this is how we communicate during the day) and of course I have to come back here and see what's up. I might chat with my new friends. My housework isn't getting done, I'm not getting my errands done. At night, I'm back on lurking, posting, and looking at B&A pics for inspiration. Am I obsessive or is anyone else like me and can't get enough right now? Whitney

Finally, I'm not alone! I too am so addicted! When I get up in the morning, I get the kids off to school, feed my little one, clean the house, then get me some water or SF juice and sit my but here all damn day! I eat lunch while reading the message boards. By the time I sign off around 4:30-5ish I've gotten in about 80 oz of fluids! I get off and cook dinner, clean up dinner, clean the house again, then come back on till about 12:30 or so, sometimes later...I'm NUTS! I find if I stay on here I don't munch at all, but if I get off to maybe watch my soaps or something I munch I'm better off sitting here all day. Think its how I'm losing weight...Its also been helping pass time... Kelley 29 days and a wake up!

Hey Kelley, At least you're able to get your housework done first!!! I havent made it that far -- usually I'm scrambling around at 5:30 trying to make it look like I haven't just sat around all day so hubbie won't get upset!! Our deal was I got to stay home and not work, but the house had to be taken care of (oops) that was before WLS came into my life -- lately I'm slipping. Now how do you manage not to eat?? I get the munchies and want to snack sitting here. I bet I've gained 25lbs since I started this Whitney PS At least I know I'm no crazier than the rest of you (think it has something to do with being a Marcher? )

LOL, there are times that I'm scrambling around to clean the house real quick before hubby gets home. Not usually though, I am such a freakin neat freak, that I won't even sit down until the house is clean. I can't even go to bed at night without making my bed oh and of course checking under the bed cause I'm a scaredy (sp?) cat. I hate being this way! I'm hoping that after surgery this will all change cause I'll have things to do...All I do now Is stay in everyday. BORING! I go to wal-mart and grocery store and such, but nothing fun...Hoping to be able to have plenty of fun things to do and kick this neat freak habit!! I won't even go to the corner store until the house is clean cause I absolutely HATE coming home to a "messy" house. UGH, anyway your not crazy, I, AM!!!!! Kelley 28 days and a wake up!!

I have a friend like you, Kelley. I always envied her, but her hubbie says I dont want to be like her. She can't even sit down to watch a movie. When we go camping together, we sit around the picnic table and make bets to see how long it will take her to clean up the trash off the table that we purposly put in the middle to taunt her (it usually doesn't take long) She even sweeps out her tent!!! Gotta love her!!! We balance eachother out. I mean I'm not filthy by any means, but, I can find an excuse not to do the laundry today I pay for it tho. Tomorrow, I'll have twice as much to do. When will I learn Whitney

Boy, she does sound like me! My husband gets so mad when he wants to watch a movie and he has to wait cause I need to clean first, can't sit till its done! Your hubby is so right, you would never want to be like your friend. Let me tell you, Being this way SUCKS! People like to "taunt' me too! They all know how I get, and they think its funny! Ugh! Maybe someday I'll get rid of this nasty OCD! Kelley
