Hospital stuff.
hmmm, I have no clue what to do with my hair. It's kind of long too (passes my bra). I know that when I pull it to the back of my head, it KILLS to sleep on it. I always gotta sleep on my side...Um, maybe I'll just part it in the middle and braid it to the sides. I'll look like a little girl. Can't imagine what all the nurses would think...UGH, now you all have me thinking about my hair! I've never had my hair braided, always wanted to though... Doesn't it hurt for a few days? I know those cornbraids are braided really tight! Anyway, I will paint my toes nice and pretty and put on some light shades of make-up the day of surgery. Gotta look my best

Cornrows ARE really tight. Im gonna ask my neighbor's mom to do it.. and ask her to do it a little loose. Im tender-headed. To me, its the only way to look decent and not a huge mess in the hospital. I dont care if I look 12. I dont want bed-hair. Im wearing light makeup too the day of surgery.. I gotta. I dont leave home without it. lol

Oh, thanks gang. Now ya have me all worried about my hair. I left it down and it was stuffed into a cap when I had my hysterectomy. And then when I got to the room I just twisted it into a scrunchie, but I think it's beyond too long for that solution.
Actually, Kimmer I was thinking the french braid thing. I can do that myself. I would have to make an appointment to have mine braided differently on saturday before my Monday surgery. AND if I can wa**** Monday before I go in, I am going to take that opportunity. I am definitely a need to wa**** every day to two days gal, so I am going to be feeling REALLY nasty if I can't get it washed after a couple of days .
Vanessa, we are all Divas at heart and deserve it!!!

Oh, Joyous C...
Don't tell me...are you a "Red Hatter"? I'm a "Pink Hatter" myself. In fact, my robe that my Mommy just got me is lavender...and, now that I'm thinking 'bout it, I may just have to take a couple of my pink hats with me when I walk the halls...that'd be WAY fun!
So...are ya?

It just makes so much sense now! Sisters!
I don't get to go to our 'meetings' much: our chapter holds 'em one Tuesday a month at 1 p.m. - I'm always working. I usually do weekend multi-chapter stuff. I just joined this year when a friend of mine qualified to wear Red/Purple.
Too cool!!
