Here I go, offering up advice that wasnt asked for.... hehe, anyways.. if you bathe with Cetaphil bar soap (comes in a royal blue box) it might help with the dry winter itchies. Good smelly lotion helps too.. lol Save the Vaseline for your piggies... get the good stuff for your body.

Aw, I LOVE the clawfoot tubs! I had one in my previous house, and it was "original" - house had been built in 1915 and the teeny bathroom was obviously built around the tub: much as we tried, we could NOT figure how to get that tub out of there and bring it with me without knocking out the bathroom wall. It was in PRISTINE condition, too...porcelain glass glaze, original hardware...I MISS THAT THING!!

Well a pedicure sure sounds good before the hospital...Hmmm have to think on that one...Got some new jammies for the hospital and robe and slippers..Also have a calling card, cause i dont thing they will let me use my cell phone in there. The count down begins....I cant wait....take care all....and March is coming soooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnn Michele

It IS getting so close...

HOw long has your journey been, Michele? Since the day I made the call to set up an appt with my surgeon to my surgery date will be 11 months. Doesnt seem like a long time but its been hell waiting. Guess the old cliche fits here.. "Good things come to those who wait."

My journey has been 11 months and 1 day....and i hope good things come to all that wait,cause we have been waiting a long time............Where will u be having your surgery? I will be having mine at Boston Medical Center...and it cant come fast enough....

Who's doing your surgery at BMC? Im gonna be at Morton Hospital in Taunton, with Dr. Bodner. I was actually looking at BMC but its too far from New Bedford for surgery anyways.

Dr Hess will be doing the surgery at BMC,,i met him at Quincy HOspital, some of my testing was done there, so it wasnt that far for me, I live in Weymouth....BUt March 19 cant come fast enough.....

I had a friend who lived in Weymouth. Im actually thinking thats the Dr. that I called.. the name is familiar. Small world. You're only a little over a month away. =)
