March Rules
34 days to go, Almost 33 Yeah Baby!
I am really in fine shape, as far as purchases go to have the surgery tomorrow, but I have the same feeling that I should be doing / buying something to get ready. I guess it is nervous energy.
Last week was wild at work. I worked 30 hours in one 2 day period! I don't wish for more weeks like that, but I hope I stay really busy. It sure makes the time pass quickly. I still have several projects to wrap up or document to pass to someone else. I have a feeling I will be more ready at home than I will be at work come March 1!
THREE WEEKS FROM MONDAY!!!!
Okay, I have a question for you ladies: Where can I buy a robe that will fit me????? I don't own one; have never worn one because I could never find one that fit. I wear a 32/34 size.
Also, can you wear panties with a catheter? Stupid question, probably, but I've never had one. I assume the logical answer is no. Anyone know how long that stays in? Or even if everyone gets one?
My hubby had one, but he can't remember when they took it out.
OOOOOOOhhhh, I'm feeling anxious!!!
G'morning, Holley...
Hey, look at the top of this page -- see the link that says "LIBRARY"? (2nd from the right, top row of the links) Go there. It's a WEALTH of info for any questions you may have. It's sensibly divided up in to general topics (e.g. pre-op diets, post-op diets, etc, etc...lotsa topics) and then each topic is sub-topic-ed.
When I first hit this website, I started out with my reading there -- spent literally HOUR AFTER HOUR exhaustively reading up on WLS. It'll provide you lists of what to bring to the hospital and why (like, that's where I found out how parched you'll be after surgery thus need moisturizing chap stick, etc, etc).
The "Q&A Postings"section/link is great, too...lets you pull a search and gives other members' questions and the responses they got.
Have at it!
